DTE was formed back in 1999 by Johnny. While trying to take motorcycle riding to another level, he was tagged by the name "Driving To Endanger" by not only the Local Police, but the Massachusetts State Police! The actual ticket is called "Driving To Endanger" and Johnny got very familiar with this criminal offense during his first year of this new Sportbike Revolution!
Over the year 2000, the negative effects of being harassed and reprimanded by the Police forced him to turn his talent onto a totally new industry by creating an X-Treme Stunt Team which is now known as one of the best stunt teams in America and even in Europe. He created the beginning of a new revolution by forming the group Driving To Endanger (DTE)!
From the moment of creation, determined as hell, he searched for the best riders he could find that had the same skills and attitude about taking this sport to a new level.
That same winter, Johnny met Chauncey and together they began a mission to bring more interest and attraction to X-Treme Sportbike Riding and indeed they did. The creation of the website which sparked a spot on the internet that eventually took the motorcycle community by surprise. Not long after, the dreams of creating an X-Treme Sportbike Stunt Team began to come true.
An email from a School Teacher (Chris "Teach") took us by surprise, but after meeting this insane rider, we immediately brought his talent to DTE. The beginning of HAVOC! The three of them began hitting the streets together looking for the best of New England.
Introduced to another rider (Damien), we found crazy talent and eventually became one as Damien joined the ranks of DTE to make The Sportbike Revolution even larger! Once we got together and began hanging out, we knew together we had some of the best attitudes and talent in the country!!!
With this happening, the thought of creating a video to show people our insane stuff was hitting our minds. Once we decided to move on this idea, Brian came along and totally took us by surprise! This guy was on a bike for less than 6 months and had more talent than other riders that have been on sportbikes for years! We immediately brought Bri's talent into the group and from there on out, DTE HAS BEEN UNSTOPPABLE!!!
With this new group of insane riders, we couldn't believe the recognition DTE was getting as the BEST X-TREME SPORTBIKE/STUNT TEAM IN NEW ENGLAND. Our website of a couple hits per day turned into a Top Sportbike Site on the internet immediately holding Top 5 every week and eventually hitting Number One on a consistent basis!
All of the riders of DTE are INSANE!!! We've got the best, most down to earth riders in the country!!! We're not full of the typical attitude that most groups carry. We are out to have fun and bring as many people that love this sport together and become part of The Sportbike Revolution.
Years 2000 and 2001 were dedicated to giving the fans a full out Video. We are hitting the streets hard to give the fans what they want to see! Crazy riding and unbelievable tricks!
After completing our first video, we were picked up by a major distributor, Impact Video, Inc. (www.videoXsports.com) and have been involved in nationally known events such as the X-TrEmmy Awards, Local and National Magazine Articles, some Television Spotlights and even a Motion Picture in the brewing! We've been involved in National Stunt Competitions such as the X-Treme Sportbike Associations XSBA (www.XSBA.com) where they have given us the opportunity to take this competition off the streets and put it on the track where it belongs! And we have also been working with a lot of companies promoting this sport to help it on its way to mainstream society.
We're now in the process of our second video, "Mayhem On Bikes" and we will continue to work on this video until it's release mid-summer. This video will definitely be the best produced, most insane, bar-raising video to date! Not only that, but it'll be produced on VHS and DVD, fully interactive, hidden footage and everything you could possibly want in any video! During the year 2002, we're spending a lot of time on the road. Take a look at our Events Page to keep checking where we'll be riding next. In between the stunt competitions and shows, we're trying to get down to visit all the friends we've made during the past few years!
