Servin It Up
by Darius240z.com

I've watch it easily 30-40 times now. The editing and camerawork are both good. For those thinking about buying this video, i would sum it up as basically, "darius and friends beating the living hell out of a couple R1's for approx 44mins." What makes this video strong also hurts it though. I was initially drawn to it because you don't see many videos where guys SET OUT to destory a bike.. pulling dozens of 12 o-clocks on the stock tail and then crashing, or dumping the bike time after time attemping rolling donuts. But, at that same time, the stuff i just named makes up at least half the video. The other half is filled with low combo wheelies on backroads, donuts in the escalade, a short feature on his 240z, and shifter cart stuff. Overally, i really liked this video; the editing was smooth, the footage unique and original, and my only complaint would be that perhaps the video seems a bit "long" because you tend to see the same stuff over and over.

On a 1 to 10 scale
Music: 7 This video is filled with techno that works well for it, along with a couple choice songs, including some Rage Against the Machine. The music worked well, in my opinion.

Editing: 8 The editing was smooth throughout the film, and while there wasn't anything greatly impressive about the editing (the initial title sequence was nifty tho), it was good in everyway.

Stunts: 8 The stunts featured are impressive. My only complaints regarding them were the lack of variety, you tend to see the same stuff over and over... i would've liked to see more freeway stuff as opposed to back roads, and more high wheelies as opposed to "foot off the ground" combos. But make no mistake, the stuff in this video will still make even hardcore stuntriders giggle their ass off on occasion.

Overall: 8.25 I really liked this video, enough to watch it whenever i've even slightly bored and it's raining out. The editing and camerawork is smooth enough to give it that MTV feel that makes stuff so easy to watch. I also now know how NOT to 12 my R1. Definitely worth the $30.
